I am certainly not surprised by the stock market gains and this is what we all thought, the simple presence of the UCP in government will begin to turn the tide away from negativity. Its a classic case of the "perception becomes the reality".

There was a kind of a "malaise" under the NDP, similar to Jimmy Carter in 1979.
