Nope. She could have done all that, and she still would've lost. It's speculation on my part, but the loss would've been just as bad, or even worse.
Let me put it to you this way. Let's say the PCs or WR won the last election. And then the economy was the same. They would've lost too. And then we would've had... well, whatever.
The negative bogeyman campaign was the best the NDP could've done. Their platform was presented early on and it literally did nothing to move the needle. The UCP had a massive lead right from the start. If anything, once the NDP painted Jason Kenney as the manifestation of beelzebub, only then did they start gaining.
