That likely occurs for the first time today.
4 years is a long long way off and its hard to believe that things will be the same or worse in regards to the subjects that matter to people this election.
A lot of it will come down to the issues at the forefront of voters minds at that point, and who the hell knows what they will be this far out.

I think that the political climate in Alberta has changed, and voters will seek change during elections. You are right, it is hard to predict where Alberta will be, all the same, the confidence in the UCP is not a given, I think that their popularity has a lot to do with the fact that they are a new party and not a continuation of the same. Change election after election is a good thing. As a moderate I think that no government should hold power for too long. A good political party has to continually earn trust, and not take citizens for granted.
