I figure Jaime is pretty safe because (my theory in spoilers):

Bran can tell everyone what Jaime did to save the people of Kings Landing. Brienne can also say that Jaime told her the same story. Tyrion can bring up the fact that he did discover that giant stockpile of wildfire under the city, plus Cersei using some of it to destroy the Sept two seasons ago.

So the question at that point is will Dany be able to forgive, since Jaime threw away all his honour to save innocent people and carried the burden of being a Kingslayer from that point onwards.
