The Skywalker family is personally responsible for the death of billions
Anakin skywalker/Vader probably killed billions at Alderaan
Luke killed millions on the first Death Star

Kylo Ren was involved in the death of probably billions when Star Killer base fired.
Sure other people might have pulled the trigger, but frankly the Skywalkers were front and center.
