Is it just me, or is EVERY Flames fan wearing a Flames jersey?? Impressive.

Our entire local office was wearing Flames jerseys today. They take the C of Red very seriously.

It's super rad to see. Wish more fans did this in the reg season. It's gotta be intimidating as hell to be so surrounded. Not to mention, it's great for team shop sales.

Someone needs to run him, yes. Keith Jones and Eddie O we're fawning all over him during the first intermission. I probably got asked "why do you cheer for them???" at least 30 times yesterday alone.
Hell, after an hour of begging, I let my kids stay up way past their bedtimes to watch the 2nd period of the Jets/Blues game when they cheered "Go Jets Go" the entire time. My daughter almost cried this morning when she heard the Jets lost.
To make matters worse: because they can’t stay up that late, I have to wait for the Avs to play in the finals on the east coast before I can expose them to the Greatest Hockey Player To Ever Come Out of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia.

I am absolutely terrified of Sam Bennett. He's just a physical freak of nature at 6'1" and 200 lbs. No one on our team can match his physical presence.

Flames fans have told me that he is a physical beast, and that if Makar comes up, he better keep his head up, because Bennett will smash him like a little porcelain doll.

FWIW I'd love to have him on our third line next to Jimmothy moving forward. Pity we couldn't snag him before he started to really carve out a spot in Calgary.

You all laugh but a big hit by Bennett is the only thing that can stop Naked Tyson Barrie from scoring 3 goals per game.

It seems like everyone says goaltending is the biggest factor in the series, but really for me I think it will be composure. The regular season games were very chippy and Avs took some dumb penalties due to retaliation. In the playoffs the intensity will only increase, but you need to play smart and keep emotions in check

I won’t watch a Flames game. Even when they play the Oilers I won’t watch. I don’t know how you people have the patience to sit through that. For me, that would be like watching Yanni in concert, or “Cavalia” or the World Championship of Darts.

I watched one period of the Flames game, turned it off, and then two episodes of the Twilight Zone. Not sure which was more surreal.

The Avalanche are not very good, and not very deep. Saw this coming a mile away. Did anybody really think the Avalanche could play a semblance of a smart playoff game? Its never happened folks. The Avalanche are a dumb team. This is easy pickings.

One thing that 12 years of losing has created is a hilarious morning show on tsn 1260 (I've listened to every other major cities and they are terrible) and extremely unbiased broadcasters. I remember after 2015 Hrudy saying he would rather have Calgary's forward group over Edmontons to start a franchise.... If it weren't for Chiarelli it would sound alot crazier than it even does now.
