I'm usually the 1st to criticize the team but that was honestly the ideal game 1 for them;

- They looked nervous/too amped up
- They played average at best and won 4-0
- The Avs had a number of quality chances and Smith stood tall
- Smith's confidence level through the roof (exactly what he needs right off the start)
- They won with the 1st line not doing much offensively
- The PP scored twice

I expect a much more relaxed and dominant team moving forward.
