I follow the news and the election pretty heavily and in terms of profile wise, its like the Alberta party doesn't exist, the story is the UCP vs NDP. I don't know whether they're communications department is just not good, or if Mandal is shy to get attention, but its just not there.

100% agree, Clark would have been better to keep and was always my preference. Mandel was simply there to raise the profile, which I believe has happened during this election.
Upward project at the cost of the big two parties means the AP is going in the right direction. And they'll have four years to re-charge, re-organize and keep showing why they should matter. FYI the shadow budgets they release are great to follow; I don't even think the UCP was doing that.
