Well just like BC can take every single stupid thing they can think of to court and allow them to decide, I suggest Alberta can and should do the same thing. Hopefully it causes enough discomfort to the lower mainland to allow some reasonable discussions to occur and a negotiated deal to be put in place. They don't seem to care one iota what pain they have put AB through, so turn about is fair play.
As has been said repeatedly....this is not a fight AB wanted but it has been brought to us. It has to be fought both at the province to province level AND against Ottawa. Both have been kicking the crap out of an injured bunch for years now...it is time to get up a start throat slamming them back.
The whole "play nice and acquiesce" in order to get something done that every other jurisdiction in the world has no problem doing, has been an unmitigated disaster by the NDP.
Its time to drop the gloves and start swinging.
