The Central Division snakes were quite the wild ride. Nashville ended up winning the division with 100 points with Winnipeg and St. Louis both racked up 99 points. How they got to the almost identical totals was completely different. Nashville spent 81/82 games above the black line, only dipping down after game #73. Winnipeg spent 79/82 games above the black line, including the last 76. St. Louis spent the first 62 days below the black line and 73 of the first 74 below it. They were above the black line for only 8/82, but were above the last five games.
After game #47 the purple snake led the blue snake by 17 points. They ended up tied after game #82.
