Brodie clearly doesn't work on the PP because of his shot, thus I recommend switching him out. I'm not against switching others out but I chose Brodie because his role/position on that unit is the biggest reason why the 2nd unit is ineffective (point shots) IMO.

The 2nd unit has been effective when the Neal-Bennett-Ryan trio have been available (and that's with Neal and Ryan having poor starts). 6.94 GF/60 as a trio is right there with the lower end of first units. Whether that's with Hanifin or with Brodie on the point hasn't really mattered. Brodie brings a bit more of a passing mentality which works with setting up Andersson, Hanifin brought more of a shooting mentality which seemed to work with Czarnik, though Czarnik hasn't been very good on the PP all year.
They just haven't been together since Neal's injury and now Bennett's injury. It's a forward problem, and the one blemish on Backlund's excellent season.

I already said Brodie doesn't elect to shoot a lot. But that's a different story from saying his shot always gets blocked. And we've seen with Dougie Hamilton that mindless volume shooting doesn't make a better powerplay, either.
