I had a similar reaction finishing season 1. I mean, Brit Marling is clearly a freaking genius, but that does not mean that the show itself is great... there is a ton there and a lot of it is really original and interesting, and in some cases executed in a beautiful way. But structurally and performance wise it doesn't feel that solid. That's not intended as a major knock on the show, it's just to try to describe it as more interesting and thoughtful than it is...

Anyway I only noticed that there was a season 2 a couple of days ago, and was pretty surprised. I thought they'd axed it. I think I'm going to re-watch the whole first season again before watching season 2.
