And Bennett was removed from the game. The issue to me is not whether or not players rush themselves back from concussions. They're adults, and at this point in our history, they know what the potential ramifications are.
It becomes a problem when the coaches, the trainers, and everyone the player relies on to give him good information tell him to shake it off and finish the game.
Bennett probably shouldn't play until the playoffs. If I were a doctor, and knowing what I know as a layman about concussions, I'd say take as much time as possible.
But I also have to acknowledge this is hockey, and this is a sport where Patrice Bergeron played for a month+ with a collapsed lung. So if Sam Bennett wants to take the next week off and then say it's go time when the bell sounds for round 1, who am I to argue?
