Buddy Robinson, who I have kinda/sorta pencilled in there on the fourth line, is 6'6". They made a two-year commitment to him in the summer and he's played well for Stockton, so I think they might want to see what he's made of in the big leagues.
Tyler Graovac is 6'5". He's also played well in Stockton and has NHL experience, including most of a full season.
Neither of those guys are fighters but they both have size.
If you're looking for tougher guys, well, Anthony Peluso is out for the year with an injury. Kerby Rychel is, too. Ryan Lomberg... yeah, well, I don't think they need to see more from him.
After them, you're left with:
- Spencer Foo, who's pretty normal-sized at 6'0". He's had a decent year but nothing spectacular.
- Curtis Lazar, who's the same size as Foo. He's been pretty okay at the AHL level and I wouldn't be opposed to giving him one more look.
- Glenn Gawdin, who's only slightly taller than Foo and Lazar. He'll be back next year and there's no real need to rush him, I don't think.
- Matthew Phillips, who is tiny (but very good).
And at that point you're out of guys worth recalling.
My guess would be they recall Valimaki and Dube to round out the real recalls. Then, I'd say they emergency recall two guys. I think Graovac will be one of them and I'd guess either Robinson or Foo for the other. Maybe Lazar.
