During the most recent stretch, both his statistical and eyetest game has been really ugly to watch. No pace, soft on the puck, giveaways all over the ice, struggles to get even one clean shot off a game. Take him out if he's injured, for all our sakes.
If he's not injured, I don't see why considering trading him for an equivalent centre who can drive his own line and contribute in other ways when the offense is going cold is so blasphemous. I still think ideally we keep him and he gets through this and back to his earlier level of play.

So due to a cold 1/4 of the season where he is still ppg when it is all said and done means we should/could consider trading him?
Who is this line driving cente we are swapping him for? If we are swapping him for a better player than that player is likely 30+ or the trade doesn’t exist. Less than 6.5M for 30 goals and 75 points is hard to come by
