As soon as Gaudreau senses someone on him he essentially just goes limp and let's the opposition have the puck. And Monahan at 6ft 2 200 pounds is a wimp as well. I'm sorry but thats just 💯 plain unacceptable at the NHL level. If we have another playoff performance where the both of them are made to be completely neutralized then we seriously need to think about trading for players who can and will take contact and actually force their way to the net. Even if that means slightly less skilled guys but who are more complete players.
This team simply doesn't have enough power forwards and that is why they are struggling right now.
