The CP crucifixion knows no bounds. Being on the ice for a goal against doesn't make you responsible. On what planet is Brodie remotely a "big" part of the second goal against?
He touched the puck early in the shift made a pretty corral-able pass to Hanifin that Hanifin gets 999/1000 times:
that just slipped under Hanifin's stick by a hair Now if you're blaming that hairline error play as the reason we were scored on, I don't know what to say. Especially with everything that happens after.
Jankowski the deflects the puck TOWARDS the slot.
Brodie then ties up Janmark's stick, but he is outnumbed by Faksa. If he doesn't tie up Janmark's stick Janmark gets a pretty dangerous shot on goal. Oh and Lindholm is doing his best bambi impression:
Then Jankowski's momentum creates an awkwardly deflected shotblock that both gets himself out of position and directs the puck to the right. If Jankowksi simply lets Rittich make that save it's a routine PK save.
instead the puck deflects to Janmark, who is unable to get a shot off (because of Hanifin tying him up), and fans on the puck, flukily passing it to Faksa, who is also unable to get a shot off (because of Brodie), and passes to a wide open Heiskanen who scores on an empty net (because Rittich's momentum was towards stopping the Janmark shot).
Meanwhile Jankowski is floating around in no man's land. Seriously, someone please explain to me who or what Jankowski is trying to cover there?
