A year ago maybe even 6 months, this (Boomer leaving) would've bothered me much more. Now I'm not sure how much I'd care.
I've always enjoyed Boomer's humor, especially with Walker, Pinder and Rhett. But the last 6 months or so the show has been pretty much unlistenable for me. I still do listen, just not the whole show, and I most definitely don't like it anymore. It's become about 75% talk about raisins, pies, movies, etc. 10% some charity or sponsor guest, then if we're lucky, the rest is sports.
I realize we're not in a huge sports market here and it's tough to fill in 3-4 hours, but they can do much better. I do hope Boomer isn't leaving, I'd rather they just step up the game and talk more sports and leave more of the crap out.
