Seems like they are in the mental purgatory of still wanting to win and play well in preparation for the playoffs. But also, trying not to get injured. In general just going through the motions before playoffs.
I don't buy that Monahan is injured. They would shut him down if that was the case. He's still taking faceoffs and playing decent minutes.
I do think he and Lindholm have completely lost their mojo. Confident that they can dig deeper in time for the playoffs, but it would be better if they were feeling good prior to the start of round 1.
