No one, not even Kenney is advocating going full scorched Earth although I suppose the definition of what constitutes a scorching varies person to person. Scorched Earth is what I would do as premier where I would have daily press conferences telling Horgan to suck my balls and giving them a fresh lawsuit every week but luckily for all of us I'm not a politician. It's about identifying leverage and pressure points. We've been trusting the Feds to do the right thing and they haven't unless forced to. They had all last year to give Kinder Morgan some certainty, pressure Horgan to stop his unconstitutional harassment games, anything. They did nothing until they had to.

I'm with you on your point yesterday where we should see how this current round of consultations pans out before getting antagonistic. But if cabinet delays and it looks like we could miss the summer construction season (again) then it's time to act.
