Sell it as a major sponsor opportunity.
Years ago I was involved in creating the "Coast Energy Corridor" for a local energy company. It was pretty lame, but at the time the Flames were selling sponsorship opportunity really cheaply. We paired it with the Institution of Modern Art (which didn't last) so it was just about the corporate sponsor.
I imagine a sponsor would be really keen on the idea.
