Aren't you? If you cast a protest vote, you're effectively saying that X is the lesser of the available evils. In that case, you're still saying that the lesser evil is the best option, and therefore, of the available options, the one you want to represent you.

In theory, I can see a circumstance where you just absolutely cannot bring yourself to vote for any of the available options. Honestly, the upcoming Federal election might present such a dilemma for some people. But in this one, is there really any instance where you can't bring yourself to vote for either the NDP or the UCP, but the AP is also just not an option? What would your politics have to be for that to be the case? It was a serious question, because I just don't know what sort of person that could possibly describe.
