You're doing the same thing. Do as you say or you're not "respecting the value of democracy". Also, "embarrassing"? Why? Because someone makes a choice you don't like. That's not far removed from saying the same things about a person who chooses the
wrong candidate.
And if you want to get down to it, I find the concept of abstaining from voting or deliberately spoiling a ballot (which is a valid form of protest) to be no more of an affront to democracy than Corsi's suggestion of just protest voting for a party. In all cases, you're deliberately not casting a legitimate ballot on who you want to represent you.
