When you start the road trip with 12 games left to go, and you probBly have to go 10-2 the rest of the way, 2 out of 3 on the road trip isn’t good enough.

So, what Hitchcock was saying is that it was ok to lose this game as long as they win the next two? Thats very oilers. And now 8-2 gives them a chance? If they lose two straight now, will going 8-0 the rest of the way give them a chance? They have been remarkably delusional in edmonton over the last couple of weeks, especially considering the fact that they haven't been able to close the gap even an inch. Saying at the same pace as the teams 7-8 points above you does not give you a chance. Running the table does, but that is a very foreign concept to the Oilers.
