Burns is legitimate opposition and having another absolute beast of a season once again. I'd love it if Gio finally won the award, but its tough going up against a guy who seems to be at his absolute peak and putting up completely insane offensive figures.

Burns is an excellent defenseman, but it would be a travesty if the best defenseman does not win the award for being the best defenseman. Mark Giordano has been the NHL's best defenseman this season.
