Massive win. 3M was unbelievable tonight, best darn line in the game, absolutely dominant, completely carried this team to victory. 4th line was also quite good as usual and Mangiapane is blossoming in front of us. 3rd line was decent, nothing special. Defensemen were solid, very well balanced minutes. Rittich was good enough, didn’t really have much of a chance on any of the goals tonight.
1st line though needs a lifeline right now, wow do they need help. Johnny Gaudreau was easily the best of player his line tonight as usual, but the other 2 are listless, especially Monahan who is just a disaster right now. I almost can’t stand watching him play right now, every other play he makes ends up helping the other team. His minutes need to be dialed back because it’s hard to watch. I actually feel bad for Gaudreau right now, he’s trying very very hard, but Monahan is dead weight and the opposition double teaming Gaudreau every game just shuts down that line.
