Tell that to James Neal. It's not impossible can last for a duration of a season. That said I do expect that over the coming weeks the Flames will get a bit more puck luck but the concern to me is not the lack of luck but the perimeter hockey of late that mirrors how they played under Gulutzan. That has nothing to do with luck or PDO. It's a team not willing to go into the dirty areas and score the greasy goals. It's players that don't have confidence in what they are doing so they overthink, overpass, attempt perfect shots, etc. They need to get past this if they are going to get back to the loose team that was lighting the lamp on a regular basis.
