If BT didn't blow his load trying to get Stone, maybe he would have had time to make the Zucker trade a reality (if rumours were true that it just didn't get to the league office in time).
I said it that day and i'll say it again, this team needed to add speed upfront at the deadline to have any chance in the playoffs. They look slow, lethargic and weak. We saw the same story last year. BIG warning sign the team is not good enough yet that this is how they appear in playoff type hard checking hockey.
I have to give every loyal Flames fan credit though (myself included), to continue to cheer for a team that has been the definition of mediocrity and is notorious for never winning in the clutch, we sure are a loyal bunch.
We are in some serious trouble come playoff time, regardless of how the Flames end the season against some bottom tier teams.
