But glass half full is that almost every decent offensive weapon the flames have is struggling and the flames are still playing decent hockey. It's pretty unlikely that all of lindholm, backlund, Johnny, Monahan and tkachuk will continue to play poorly.

This team has scored more than 2 goals in a game just once in the past 8 games. If you can't see why that's concerning, I don't know what to say.
While it's true that the sky is not falling, it's also naive to just take for granted that they'll bounce back just like every other slump they've had. This one is more worrying than the others. It seems that we've reached the time of year when other teams find another gear but the Flames can't do the same.
