About what exactly? do you disagree that your argument only makes sense with supporting evidence? Do you disagree that gun deaths in Canada are not a serious problem which warrants the concealing of a handgun? Or do you disagree that the presence of a concealed weapon is an infringement upon public safety?

They do not have the right to produce or fire it within your vacinity. They only have the right to do so if the situation permits it.
Guns make you nervous because you are not farmilliar with them. There are plenty of unsafe things out there. many people carry knives. A knife can do just as much damage as a gun. In fact, I carry a 3.5" folding knife in my pocket every day. Along with my flashlight, first aid kit, notepad, cell phone among others, but I can tell you i'm not going to be pulling my knife out on random people.
I disagree that a concealed weapon is an infringement on the safety of the public, yes.
Even if crime wasn't a problem, I would still want to carry.
I'm a bit confused on your other question. Are you looking for evidence that a criminal might not attack if they knew you had a weapon?
