It's pretty simple, actually. If the law permits it and I do not know who is concealing a weapon, I must assume that
somebody probably is. As a result I must be suspiscious of
everybody, and this in turn infringes upon my right to feel safe. I do not feel safe if at any given moment a private citizen has the right and ability to produce a concealed weapon and fire it within my vicinity. Guns make me nervous, and I would warrant that I am in the vast majority in this regard.

About what exactly? do you disagree that your argument only makes sense with supporting evidence? Do you disagree that gun deaths in Canada are not a serious problem which warrants the concealing of a handgun? Or do you disagree that the presence of a concealed weapon is an infringement upon public safety?
