Also is it just me or do ALL lcd tv's look like crap? they always seem blurred and not very sharp. My parents(suckers) bought a $3000 Bravia and it's not even close to my lcd projection and plasma tv. I have NO idea why they didn't ask me before they bought their tv. They totally hate it. hehe.

DLP isn't gone.

Newer technologies like LED will eliminate color wheels and the rianbow effect while allowing for significantly longer lamp times (20K hours vs. 3K currently). The technology is constantly improving, as with other display technologies.
As for HD programming, I can say that Bell offers a much larger selection than Shaw. They did in 2005 when I switched, and they continue to do so. I get dual feeds of all US networks plus CTV, CBC HD for HINC, TSN HD for their hockey broadcasts, plus at least a dozen other specialty channels and PPV HD channels. Bell is constantly adding HD content as well - A&E HD was just added, HDNet Canada was just added, and I expect other HD channels like Showcase HD will be offered before very long.
There are certainly issues with Bell. But the amount of HD programming is not one of them.
