Sometime when Smith goes behind the net we get burned but the majority of the time it works out well. Do you not think M Turco, who was considered the best puck handling goalie, didn't have these occasions? To me it looks like Smith gets tied up with Hanifin, which stops him getting back to the net. It happens, it's one game. calm down and enjoy the previous 7 wins.

The rage isnt about smith this game, this game just illustrates why Mike smith shouldnt be starting for an nhl team any longer.
Mike smith has been good lately= 5 games below .900 save % I his last 10. David rittich has been bad lately= only 4 games below .900 in his last 10.
Explain that ridiculous disparity and the completely baffling penchant of management and coaching to favor a washed up ###### in net and you will find the source of the vitriol in this thread. Mike smith= no good, and its high time we stopped seeing him in red.
