I'm ok with keeping FAF. give it to Regehr and Loob in the coming years for sure, i think there are a number of others you could look at, but those two guys were exclusively great as Flames in the NHL. guys Gilmore that receive similar tributes elsewhere makes you less worried about if they get into the club.
Kipper I would lean towards retirement, but could see the argument for FAF in that he has all but abandoned Calgary since leaving hockey. retirement as a higher honour should come with some commitments. Mike and Lanny were there today, i do not believe Al and Joe were.
Gio i would put firmly in the FAF column. a cup could get him close to retirement, depending on how his career ends and what he does with himself after. i
Johnny and Monny with their current long term contracts are probably already showing FAF credentials. if they play into their mid 30s here...
Theo's an difficult one because it should be retirement. but......... enough said.
