Don't kid yourself. A lot of this was set up for them to maximize their concession and merchandise sales for a sold out event.
I agree, I wouldn't have an issue to get their on time. People with families and stuff would be hard to commit to almost a 5 hour event. Say you get to the Dome around 6 pm to do security, parking etc and the game goes until almost 11 pm, it isn't easy.
