If Lindholm was to put up 70 points next year, his contract likely starts being regarded as the best non-entry level deal for any forward.
It appears that the long term security of this deal has allowed Lindholm to settle in and take his game to a new level. Often players struggle in that first year of a long term deal. But it's not the case here. He was a top 5 pick for a reason. Now he's showing why.
