5? Are you counting McDayquil 3 times and Drysaddle twice?
They have 2 above average players on their entire roster. 2. Their next best player, Ryan Nothing-Happens is entirely average. He is 33rd for centers in the league, except is also -13 and plays a significant amount of his time on the wing with McDayquil. I'm not convinced they have any other forward you could even count as an average NHL player. As I've said many times, I don't think they have a single D man that cracks the Flames top 7 (counting Valimaki). And their goaltending is meh at best.
All those high picks, all those years of sucking... and they have 2 players they should be proud of. The Flames, with zero top 3 picks in their entire history, have far more above average players.
