As much as i would like to think this is going to come down to leader vs. leader (in which they are evenly matched), I do believe most people see the UCP as representing big business coming back, and as such, will likely win. It doesn't really matter what the NDP announces or how many times the UCP sticks their fingers in their own butt hole.

Sure, and in complete fairness, I do believe that this election isn't about what party wins, but by how bad things get for the NDP, I mean, its likely that they form the official opposition because frankly the Alberta Party is a gong show, the Liberal's should really just purge the ranks and start over, but the question is how many NDP actually return to the house for a second seat.

There were too many misfires by Notley and Co. Also to stack on Albertan's are rightfully freaking out about Jobs, and survival, and I think that the trust in the NDP to turn it around is incredibly low.

We can argue about whether its all their fault, not their fault or partially their fault. But they have been the government in place for the last four years of poor economic results, no pipelines and fleeing investment so its likely that they're going to take the bullet.
