The Calgary Flames make their return to the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum for the first time since February 27, 2015 as they take on the New York Islanders.

The Flames have won their last five games, but their top line has been quiet as of late. Calgary currently sits three points up on San Jose, who play in Boston this evening, and hold a game in hand for first place in the Western Conference.
The Islanders top the Metropolitan division with a 36-18-7-79 record, and shutout the Vancouver Canucks in their last game.
The Flames top line is cold at the moment, and the team squeaked out a win in the dying moments against the Senator in their last game. The Flames tend to play to their opponent’s level, which means tonight should be a good bout.
This evening’s game is on SportsNet West, so for those of us outside Alberta, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories or Nunavut, we are relegated to NHL Centre Ice, Game Centre, or your local sports bar.
