That is 1000% why they are having Nicholson waddle in and do a presser on a Saturday morning.
Again, the Oilers see this as a feel good PR opportunity to show Connor how much they care about him, and, to get disgruntled Oilers fans back on side (and giving an excuse and distraction for the other terminal organizational problems which are the real reason for missing the playoffs) for ticket renewals.
I hope Burke rips the Oilers to shreds on this tonight for this overblown stunt.
