Does bonus money affect this? Not sure how McDavids contract is structured, but for a guy like Tavares who is technically making league minimum since he gets most of his money upfront in July every year, would a suspension mean he loses two games at league minimum? If so, that's another reason for players to want their contracts structured that way.
