Looked at hits taken, shots against and shots for. It admitted it's difficult to quantify. How do you assess putting a team off its normal game, for example.
I actually think smith's positioning and actual goaltending has been way better recently (way less floppy). It's whether the risk is worth the supposed positive of him playing it I guess. I'd hate to think that it'd be the difference in a playoff game.
Either way, it's nice that a tongue in cheek comment illicits an insulting response. This place sometimes indeed.
