He has almost no points to defend until mid-June. He will play in Sao Paulo next week and then Indian Well Qualies.
Meanwhile, Brayden Schnur has pulled out of Yokohama to give himself almost a full two weeks rest. He still plans to do the Chinese swing of Zhuhai, Shenzhen and … Zhangjiagang!
He wasn't going to get into Indian Wells qualies and maybe could get into Miami? but i think he wants to get some points in China and get into the top 100. Remember, top 104 directly qualify for grand slams.
