Adding Duchene causes a much bigger trickle down effect would it not? And given Treliving has expressed his concerns for team chemistry, this seems like a move that would disrupt it the most.

True, and obviously Duchene would be their "2nd line centre" but to avoid the huge chemistry shakeup of putting him in Backlund's spot and moving everyone down, I could see them just replacing Jankowski with Duchene to play with Bennett and Czarnik.
Then either move Frolik or Jankowski to fourth line LW and the other plays with Tkachuk and Backlund. Could work pretty well.
