So you had to look it up. Thought as much. By time Sandmann gets through school and is ready for the workforce six years or more will have passed. That information will be so far down the rabbit hole it won't register. For example, I used a very uncommon name from a high profile event (attempted murder) that made weeks worth of headlines five years ago in one of the largest media markets in the US, and it didn't even make the first 100 hits for my search. It faded into the woodwork. Why would this be any different? I'm not certain that some report from six years ago is going to trump that Ivy League degree or the recommendations of his frat brothers. People like this don't get jobs through regular channels, so I don't see how this is going to follow him around. It might, but a kid with an Ivy League degree has an advantage that most don't and dirt doesn't stick to them very often.

Also, you pointing to an actual racist and trying to compare the two is exactly why the defamation suit might have some legitimate legs. You, despite all the evidence to the contrary, still believe Nick Sandmann is on the same level as a grown adult attending a white supremacy rally.
Actually, I don't. Where does the racism claim come from here? Is it because of the hat? Personally, I don't buy the whole argument of the MAGA hat being a symbol of racism. I kind of developed this feeling after the whole Virginia episode, the fall out from it, and then the wall stuff. I see it more of a symbol of the "me first" generation, people that want their interests served more so than the needs of the whole community, and abdication of responsibility for their actions. Racist? No. Self-centered and self-serving, yes. Different beast.
