I was at the Flames season ticket holder meeting when they announced that Spencer Foo had signed with Calgary earlier that day. Ken King was gushing and raving about this kid as if he a top free agent on a super low AAV. I was wondering why they were SOOOOOOO excited for what in essence was a low risk/low return college free agent.

Than Ken King made all the jokes about how an Edmonton based player had selected Calgary and than it made more sense!
