With the return you could get for McDavid, plus drafting 1st and 32nd, you could add a bunch of talent in a hurry.

Trade RNH as well, and get a couple more prospects.

The cap floor wouldn't be a problem because you still have Draisaitl and Lucic, etc., and you can sign a vet or two in the free agent market to round it up.

You could come out of this summer with half a dozen great prospects.
