Matheson on twitter thinks that these two trades means the Gretzky is perfectly fine for the full time gig. Just hilarious how quickly he’s been trained to slurp up Lowe’s tripe.

I know K Gretzky says he doesn't want to be Oiler GM, but why shouldn't he be considered. He held out for younger Stolarz rather than take Elliott. Gagner has more upside than Spooner.
