I know that 1-3-2 in the last 6 since the break looks bad but think the results are a bit unfavourable. Even if they win both in a shootout and were 3-3-0 I feel like there would be less panic.
Washington: Poor Effort - Outshot 40-30, Washington was the better team, Smith wasn’t great.
Carolina - Win - fine effort.
San Jose - Okay effort - Flames outshot them 38-30, down 3-0 due to a bad 1:32 and two bad goals.
Vancouver - Flames outshot them 47-25, lost in the shootout, Rittich let in one softy and Markstrom was great.
Tampa Bay - Bad Effort - Just outclassed the only truly bad game of the stretch IMO.
Florida - okay effort - Florida did a decent job of Clogging things up on the rush. Flames outshot them 43-32, and lost in a shootout.
Sucks but I wouldn’t hit the panic button just yet. Teams have stretches like this in a season.
