I think this is a game the hitmen should win...lets hope they come out and play for the full 60 minutes.

The Calgary Hitmen (13-7-4-1) continue their tour through the U.S. division as they visit the Tri-City Americans (8-11-3-0) in tonight's lone Western Hockey League match-up.

The Hitmen, who are currently second in the Central division, are coming off last night's 4-2 win in Seattle and are 2-1 in the first three games of their seven-game road trip. Ryan Getzlaf (15g-14a) leads the hitmen in scoring with 29 points.

The Americans, who currently occupy fourth spot in the U.S. division, have been idle since Saturday's 4-1 loss in Everett and are 4-5-1 in their last 10 outings. Tri-City has scored a Western conference-low 48 goals this season. League-wide, only Swift Current (46 goals) has scored fewer times than the Americans.

It's the first and only meeting of the season between the Hitmen and Americans. In last season's only meeting, the teams skated to a 2-2 tie in Calgary. Calgary has a historical edge over Tri-City, going 8-3-1 in 12 meetings over the last five years.
